CRACKED
Community fires, history and healing.
We weren’t joking when we told you to bring your wellies and your brolly!
Our event organisers are aware of the wet weather conditions set to take place at CRACKED tomorrow evening at Fremantle Arts Centre and are adding shelter provisions to our event space to ensure the show goes on!
You can help make your CRACKED experience more comfortable by preparing for the wet weather conditions — bring a brolly, jacket and wellies if you have them. We will be monitoring the weather as the day goes on and provide any further updates with our social media channels.
Stay warm and dry out there friends!
In partnership with 10 Night in Port the grounds of FAC will be illuminated by a trail of “community fires”, as participants of the Alfred Lowe X Stuart Scambler workshop submit their works to the Raku firing process as part of this live event!
Enjoy performances from Circus WA and Dangerous Delights, and the opportunity to appreciate the IOTA24 exhibition by night.
Hope is a life force that happens through us – it fuels resilience, unites communities and inspires change. Cracked is a participatory ceramic project and free exhibition that explores how communities rally and keep hope alive in even the darkest times.
This activation pays homage to this historic site by sharing ancient and contemporary pottery traditions and creating space for guests to work with clay and firing kilns.
